About the Scientific Calculator

Beyond Basic Arithmetic

When addition and subtraction aren't enough, you need something with more range. Whether you're a student grinding through physics homework, an engineer running quick calculations, or just someone who occasionally needs a logarithm, a scientific calculator handles all of it in one place. This one covers trig, exponents, roots, logarithms, and the essential constants — without making you download anything.

Key Functions at Your Fingertips

  • Trigonometric functions — sin, cos, and tan — all take input in degrees. These come up constantly in physics, engineering, and geometry, and it's useful to have them a click away rather than hunting through a phone app.
  • Both log (base-10) and ln (natural log, base-e) are here. If you've ever had to solve an exponential equation or work with scientific data, you know how often you need these.
  • Squares (), custom powers (), and square roots () are all available. Nothing revolutionary, but they're the kind of thing you reach for constantly in algebra.
  • Pi (π) and Euler's number (e) are one click away instead of requiring you to type them out by memory. Small thing, but it saves time.

Keyboard-First Design

You can run almost every function without touching the mouse. Press s for sine, l for log, and use the standard keys for arithmetic. If you're in the middle of a problem and your hands are already on the keyboard, you won't need to reach for the mouse at all. It's a small thing that makes a real difference when you're doing a lot of calculations in a row.
