Include every page exactly once. Example: 2,1,0 reverses a three-page PDF.
When the content is right, but the sequence is wrong
We've all been there: you scan a stack of documents only to realize the paper went through the feeder in the wrong order, or you export a report and find that the summary page ended up at the very back. It's a small mistake that makes a document feel unorganized. Reordering allows you to fix the flow of your document without having to start over or re-scan everything.
The logic behind the "New order" field
To keep things exact, this tool uses zero-indexed page numbers. That just means the first page is 0, the second is 1, and so on.
To reorder, you just list the pages in the sequence you want them to appear. For a 3-page document, if you want to move the last page to the front, you would enter 2, 0, 1.
One important rule to remember
When you're reordering, the tool expects you to account for every page in the original file exactly once. If you miss a page or repeat one by mistake, the process won't finish because the PDF would be "incomplete." If you actually want to get rid of a page, it's better to use our Delete PDF Pages tool instead.
