Why turn a PDF into a web page?

PDFs are great for printing, but they can be a headache for everything else. They aren't responsive, they're hard to search, and they don't always play nice with screen readers or mobile devices. Converting a PDF to HTML is about making that content "live" again. It's the right choice when you want to take a static report and publish it as an article, or when you need to pull data out of a document and into a web-based workflow without losing the basic formatting.

What to expect from the conversion

The goal of this tool is to give you a self-contained HTML file that preserves the "flow" of the original document. It keeps your headings, paragraphs, lists, and basic text styles (like bold and italic) while wrapping them in clean HTML tags. Each page of your PDF becomes a distinct section in the code.

The result is a document that is much easier to read on a phone, accessible to more users, and ready for you to copy-paste into a CMS or a blog post. It's about getting the content out of the "fixed box" of a PDF and into a format that the modern internet actually understands.

The limitations of "Fixed" vs "Fluid"

It's important to remember that PDFs were never designed to be web pages. If your PDF has a very complex layout—like a multi-column magazine spread with overlapping images and text—it won't look exactly the same in HTML. The converter will try to find a logical "reading order" and flatten the layout into a single column.

Also, this tool requires a real text layer. If your PDF is just a scan of a physical piece of paper, it's essentially a photograph, and the converter won't find any text to extract. For those files, you'd need OCR software first.

Safe and secure extraction

Whether it's a private contract or a rough draft of an article, we respect your privacy. All processing happens on a secure backend and your files are deleted immediately after the conversion is done. We don't store your data, and we don't look at what you're converting. It's your content, we just help you change the format.
