The simple fix for messy attachments

We've all been there: you've photographed or scanned a multi-page document, a handful of receipts, or some project sketches, and now you need to send them. Emailing ten separate JPEGs is messy for you and even worse for the person receiving them. It's easy for files to get out of order or for some to get lost in a long thread.

Combining those images into a single PDF solves the problem instantly. You give the recipient one clean, professional file they can scroll through, print, or archive easily. It's the standard way to handle everything from expense reports to portfolio submissions.

Page size and how your images fit

The way your images sit on the page matters, especially if you plan on printing the final document. We've included a few settings to help you get it just right:

• Standard Sizes (A4 or Letter): This is the best choice if the PDF needs to be printed. Your images will be placed onto standard paper dimensions. If an image doesn't match the aspect ratio perfectly, the tool will add white margins to keep the whole image visible.
• Auto-Size: This is the "no-fuss" option. Each page in the PDF will be custom-sized to match the exact dimensions of each image. There are no margins and no extra white space—the PDF simply becomes a container for your images as they are.

You can also control the Fit Mode. Choose "Fit" to ensure the entire image is always visible, or "Fill" if you want the image to take up the entire page (even if a tiny bit of the edges get trimmed).

A few tips for a professional-looking PDF

To get the best result, keep these things in mind:

• Order matters: Upload your images in the sequence you want them to appear. The tool treats the first file you pick as page one, and so on.
• Watch the orientation: Try to keep all your images in the same orientation (all portrait or all landscape) if you're using a fixed page size like A4. It makes the final document much easier to read.
• Resolution: High-resolution photos make for great PDFs, but they can create large files. If your final PDF is too big to email, you can always run it through our Compress PDF tool afterwards.

Private and secure
